Plantation Drives and Environmental Awareness Programmes

AKRITI under a Environmental Sustainability Initiative organizes Plantation Drives and Environmental Awareness Programmes on a regular basis. These drives and awareness programmes are planned and executed in collaboration with Government Agencies, Panchayats and Locals Communities, Corporates, Schools, colleges and NGOS. The goals attained through this project are as follows.

• To rejuvenate degraded land
• To create lush greenbelts and forests to neutralize the impact of global warming and climate change
• To reduce the air pollution in cities and villages by increasing the presence of plants and green cover around the cities
• To sensitize the community members and spread awareness about climate action measures such as afforestation, water conservation and preservation of flora and fauna
• To observe World Environment Day
